It's funny to sit here with them & compare them to these photos & see how much more they have grown in just a few days. I love how straight & purposeful the stems are at the beginning...now they are starting to get a little unruly, in the sweetest way possible...
Surely spring is just around the corner (or at least small signs of it), so hang in there!
- LisaArzigogolarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00963207317966012515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-2836098593439881562014-02-05T16:04:11.655+01:002014-02-05T16:04:11.655+01:00I can smell their scent as I read, these small mir...I can smell their scent as I read, these small miracles with their gentle hints of spring and sunshine - much needed in this wet, wet winter.Charlton Stitcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03052815242463837033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-90886490967298886722014-02-04T12:40:11.586+01:002014-02-04T12:40:11.586+01:00Hello Ersi, thanks for coming by to see the bulbs ...Hello Ersi, thanks for coming by to see the bulbs in bloom - they continue to shoot up even more each day & their scent grows ever-lovelier.
And yes, it's true about the Arno - haven't seen it this high/moving so fast for a long time - but we in Florence are fine...not so good in the Pisa area though. Hopefully the daily rain projected in the next week's forecast will be scattered, not constant.
