I came across BookArtObject when looking for book arts projects, and I believe I found your blog from there (which then led to discovering the ALaW project). I remember that the name 'Paper Ponderings' caught my attention when I first saw your blog, and I've enjoyed visiting ever since.

Here's to all of those great choices + continuing past traditions & discovering new directions...

- LisaArzigogolarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00963207317966012515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-33673680144117795882013-01-16T12:37:06.786+01:002013-01-16T12:37:06.786+01:00Your blog was recommended to me by a print maker -...Your blog was recommended to me by a print maker -- and she wasn't wrong. It is always interesting - the time you take to write your posts pays off as they tell a story, held together with threads of this and of that which all work together beautifully. I always enjoy the conversations about your process and your imagery is wonderful. Hope you find those projects you can make your own this year - so much choice! I couldn't believe it when I saw your anniversary post from the same day!
The table is, alas, no longer empty, as there's work to be done...but it's still allowing a generous sense of space & possibility. I am trying to place things on it deliberately, and to develop a better 'system' for what truly needs to be on it (while trying to figure out where to put everything else!).
Here's to another year of blogging!
- LisaArzigogolarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00963207317966012515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-46186345113163252342013-01-12T17:23:08.036+01:002013-01-12T17:23:08.036+01:00Thanks for your lovely comment, Julie!
Yes...about...Thanks for your lovely comment, Julie!
Yes...about grand plans...sometimes I wonder if I should write about them (and expose my slowness in following through with them), but I figure at least others who experience the same thing will realize that they're not alone.
I highly recommend the thorough clearing of the work space - it gave me such pleasure to keep noticing it from the rest of the (still cluttered) studio. I actually manage pretty well amid confusion, but an occasional 'restart' works wonders...
- LisaArzigogolarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00963207317966012515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-38068316650458550202013-01-12T17:15:56.793+01:002013-01-12T17:15:56.793+01:00I find gathering can be very meditative. Happy Anniversary! I know what you mean about "grand plans". It always seems that in my mind, I have way many more hours than in my reality. You may inspire me to clean off my work table (have filling-horizontal-space-itis too!)before I get too involved in projects this year. Looking forward to all you have in store.Thread Bornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14976508177978319576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-8053463807894461402013-01-11T10:58:16.503+01:002013-01-11T10:58:16.503+01:00I like the use of the word gather as I am a great ...I like the use of the word gather as I am a great gatherer.Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14177627504060328999noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7951870726435716874.post-68523835950035617712013-01-11T02:45:43.355+01:002013-01-11T02:45:43.355+01:00Love your empty desk, Lisa. I thought 12x12 would be so perfect for 2012, but figured it can be an on-going project, especially in the many ways it can eventually manifest.
